Alparslan Kuytul invited everyone who calls him an Iran supporter, a Shia, a Wahhabi, a takfiri, an ISIS supporter, outside Ahl al-Sunnah or an enemy of Sufism and the orders to a mubahala: "If you are sure, come; I will bring my wife and my children, and you bring yours — whoever is lying, may their root wither." The invitation still stands.
The objection is jurisprudential from the outset: an obligatory prayer that can be performed with precautions in place is not given up. The measures he proposed are the same as those applied when the mosques opened on 29 May 2020.
