Alparslan Kuytul invited everyone who calls him an Iran supporter, a Shia, a Wahhabi, a takfiri, an ISIS supporter, outside Ahl al-Sunnah or an enemy of Sufism and the orders to a mubahala: "If you are sure, come; I will bring my wife and my children, and you bring yours — whoever is lying, may their root wither." The invitation still stands.
The claim rests on a confusion of concepts: tawhid is to recognise no authority besides Allah, while wahdah is the unity of the Muslims. And criticism and tafriqa are not the same thing either.
