He said "I am not against the measures, but I am against their being exaggerated"; on masks, distance and hand-washing he said he would follow the experts. His objection was not to the measure but to a distinction that distance could not explain.
It is true that he found the measures exaggerated, and we are not hiding it. But he never denied the existence of the virus, called no one to abandon precautions, and made no claim to expertise.
In the report's own footage there is about one and a half metres between the rows. What is more, the prayer shown on the screen is not the tarawih but the dawn prayer performed the following morning.
