The "LGBT Supporter" Claim

A sentence describing who might have taken part in a protest was presented as approval of the views of those who did. In his reply Kuytul repeated that atheism is unbelief and that LGBT is forbidden.

The claim that "he took his place alongside the Boğaziçi protesters"

It is true that he objected to the appointment and regarded the protest as legitimate. But finding a protest justified is not the same as adopting the views of those who take part in it.

The claim that "he showed tolerance towards those who insulted the Kaaba"

The incident the claim rests on came to light days after Kuytul's statement. It is not possible to show tolerance towards an incident that has not yet taken place.
