Did Alparslan Kuytul congratulate the coup?

Watching the video in full establishes the following:

• He made the statements below while the events were still unfolding, and on a live broadcast, believing that what was happening was not an attempted uprising but a full coup like that of 1980.
• At 23:30 on the night of 15 July he said: "Even though we criticise the AKP, we would not be pleased to see them brought down by a coup." He was the only person to state on live television that night that he was against the coup.
• Even while criticising the AKP — criticism that is constructive and directed at injustice — he voiced his concern in the same statement: "We do not know what state the President is in. Since the General Staff has issued a statement, they must be in custody."
• The words cropped to suggest he was celebrating read in full: "May God not bring upon our nation troubles it cannot bear. May He make this coup not a blow against Islamic activity, but a means by which that work is affected for the better and Muslims benefit." The coup having already happened, what he is plainly saying is: let at least some good come of it.
• He closed with "forgive me my dues" — certain that he too would be arrested. As above, he was speaking in the belief that this was a coup like that of 1980, in which people from every quarter were detained, tortured and disappeared.
• Despite all this, he stated his position faster than anyone else. What deserves recognition has instead been served up for years through videos cropped and torn from their context — by the very mainstream media whose job is to report accurately — and it continues to be.
