A second search of a magazine building where nothing had been found

According to Furkan Haber's account of 16 September 2026, the head office of Furkan Nesli magazine was sealed off by armoured vehicles on the morning of 19 August, and in the course of the operation the building was searched once again. The same building had been searched before, and that earlier search turned up nothing criminal.

The second search was carried out by KOM, the anti-smuggling and organised crime unit, together with narcotics teams. A building in which an earlier search had found nothing criminal was thus searched a second time.

The second objection concerns how the search was run. Members were not allowed into the building as hazirun, that is, as the party present on the premises while officers work. The magazine building was therefore searched with no representative of the side that uses it inside.
