Trustees appointed to five companies with no link to the movement
According to Furkan Haber's account of 16 September 2026, the trustee decisions took effect in the same hours as the raids of 19 August. While homes were being searched and the head office of Furkan Nesli magazine stood surrounded by armoured vehicles, five separate private companies were placed under appointed trustees.
None of these five firms has any financial or organic tie to the Furkan Movement. They are not institutions of the movement but businesses trading in their own name. No court has convicted anyone; the companies were taken out of their owners' hands at the investigation stage.
Furkan Haber sets the measure beside the freezes still in force on the bank accounts of detained members and of those under house arrest, and beside the block on Alparslan Kuytul's pension, which has narrowed the means of a household with five children. The trustees are not an isolated step but one item in a set of financial measures applied before any judgment.
