Access bans on official websites and social media accounts
According to Furkan Haber's account of 16 September 2026, the access bans came into force in the same days as the operation of 19 August. They were not confined to a single address: the movement's official websites and the social media accounts of a large number of members were covered. The decisions were applied while no conviction existed.
Furkan Haber reports that in the same period citizens who answered claims about the movement on social media were called in to give statements and placed under judicial control. At the courthouse, too, the order in which people were taken into the hearing did not follow the alphabet but lists posted by anonymous accounts shortly beforehand. The two sit side by side: while access to the movement's own channels was being closed, posts made against it stayed in circulation.
