Semra Kuytul moved a second time, again without notice
In its report of 16 September 2026, Furkan Haber states that Semra Kuytul was among the 36 people jailed after the simultaneous raids of 19 August 2026 and that she was first held at Kürkçüler Prison in Adana. She and Alparslan Kuytul were later taken out of that prison without either their families or their lawyers being informed.
No official notice of the destination followed. Relatives learned where the two had been taken only by telephoning prisons one by one, and that search showed Alparslan Kuytul had been sent to Erzurum, roughly 1000 kilometres from his home, and Semra Kuytul to Diyarbakır.
Her stay in Diyarbakır was short. She was moved again soon afterwards, once more without advance notice, to Çarşamba Prison in Samsun, making it the second unannounced transfer within a single case file. Ten other detainees in the case, all of them resident in and around Adana, were likewise sent to Erzurum without their families or lawyers being told.
