The message in full
I have heard that in some cities the press statements and marches held in protest at our unjust detention have been broken up. Today I learned that the interventions in Istanbul have now gone well beyond all measure. 46 people were taken into custody; 37 of them were released under house arrest and various judicial control measures, while 9 were arrested.
It is plain that this was done in order to intimidate us, to put an end to the marches and the press statements, to make those in prison forgotten and to force acceptance of this oppression. But by God's leave and help these plans will come to nothing.
Let them not be afraid! Let them go on making this oppression known to the world until the last one of us is left. However many they take into custody, however many they arrest, they will only have increased our students' experience and courage that much more and raised their standing that much higher.
The vanguard generation will show that it is a generation that leads for the oppressed. If everyone is arrested and even a single person is left, let that person hold the march alone, hold the press statement, and go on making this oppression known to the whole world!
Let the whole public know: this file is not a criminal file, it is a SILENCE file! Our cause is just. Our path is just. Our brow is clear. Once God is behind us, it is of no importance at all who stands against us. It is God who prevails. He makes prevail whom He wills. Greetings to all.
